Halema'uma'u Glow

Here is what the main crater on Kilauea looked like last night. It was bright and beautiful. The glow from the Pu'u O'o West Flank Vent was faint, but visible by eye, (not by camera) from the overlook at Jaggar Museum. Saw several shooting stars while I was there. I'll go back on the night of Aug 13 when the meteor shower is predicted to be at its peak.
