Yes, there is a new fissure that is fountaining lava on the volcano. It is over near the Pu'u O'o vent. It is very remote and the only people who have seen it arrived by helecopter. The glow from it is pretty thrilling. Saturday there was big booming as the closer crater, Halema'uma'u, did some collapsing.
